Community Makeover! June 17, 2010
Well since we have been started it has been our biggest challenge to bring church’s together. I am proud to say that our God is answering those prayers. This year we are doing a community makeover and we have been blessed with 10 other church ready to participate. What a great God we have. We will spend Friday, Saturday, and Sunday working in the community. In the hopes of showing the unsaved and unchruched people of the community what church really is all about. Sunday morning we will meet for a devotion and meet back up that night for a night of worship. Thank you for your many prayers. Jamie is now breathing some on her own but still has the help from the ventilator. Her friends and family are camping out in the ccu. Waiting to see the next miracle God has planned!!!
I started thinking about the many people that read FB and blogs and how many miracle stories that are out there. For example earlier this week the doctors told us that Jamie’s brain was hemorrhaging and it was finished. Then a couple hours later after a suppose to be last scan comes up clean. She was not hemorrhaging and God was not finished yet. Later that day she began breathing some on her own and her vitals started looking more promising. It just seems amazing to me at how many unbelievers out there are reading this story. I know some say the internet is of the devil but I would have to disagree with that. Knowing that my unbeliever friends are getting to witness countless miracle stories around them is just awesome to me.

Today has been one of those days… I have a dear friend named Jamie that was taken to the hospital today . When the paramedics arrived it took them at least 10 minutes to start her heart. Since this morning her brain has swelling and she has no response. The doctors have given up hope for her to last through the night. She is married and has 3 young children. Please pray for a miracle tonight.

So as I fell asleep Saturday night in my prayer I requested a Birthday present from God. This is what it was. Lord tomorrow at Cross View I want 31 people to be baptized to represent how old I am. But I don’t want to put you in a box so if you want to do more you can as long as there is 31. I was trying to be specific in prayer. LOL So Sunday morning we baptized 31 people but to put the cherry on top my adopted child’s biological mom was baptized also. So I have to say I had the best Birthday ever. God is Great!!! He shows up and shows out every time.

We closed on Goodyear this past Thursday!!!! So today I was able to do a walk through and found our room for Women’s Ministry. I am so excited about the things we will be able to do with all this space! And yes if you are wondering if Ladies Night Out is back it is in the planning process now. The summer Bible study will be held at Crossview Church and the date will be posted soon.
All I can say is God is Awesome!!!!!
Relay for Life 2010 April 13, 2010
Just wanted to say thanks to the Crossview women that participated in the Relay for Life baseball game and chili sales. You did a great job! We where able to make a good donation between the two fundraisers. Also special thanks to Tabby and the band they rocked it out! It’s a great feeling when you look at a community event and see the church being what God created the church to be. I was approached by many women about the church and what we are doing. I feel so blessed to be apart of something that is making such a big impact in our community.

So Friday night was beyond awesome!!! If you missed I am truly sorry. Beloved and Heirborn came out and did a concert to raise money for the new building. They where amazing! But better than that we had a great turn out of pastors in Polk County. It was great to see church’s acting like the church uniting as one. Putting all differences aside denomination, tradition, contemporary it didn’t matter only the one true thing GOD. What a night!!!!!!
